Alcott Grade 5 Arts Night

Mark your calendars!! Alcott Arts Night is Wednesday, May 30th, and that’s the opening date for our Fifth Grade Retrospective Art show. Every 5th grade student will have his or her own individual display as part of this entire 5th grade art exhibit. This is a chance for the students to reflect on their own artwork and to share their work with the entire school community. Students choose, review, and mount their work in art class. They will use iPads to record a statement about their work, which will be included in their exhibit. Our Opening Celebration will be on Wednesday. May 30th, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., for students, families, and friends followed by the Spring Concert at 7:00 p.m. Please email Art Teacher Barbara Gordon for more information.

The entire Grade 5 class will present their Spring Concert at 7:00 p.m. in the Alcott auditorium. They will sing 3 songs together, followed by selections from the Orchestra and the Band. It should be a wonderful evening of music! Please email Ms. Kwarcinski in the Music Room with any questions.
