Variety Show Sign-Ups May 19:  The 13th Annual Alcott School Variety Show: June 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alcott School Auditorium.  Are your kids dying to show us their talent?  Please have forms in by May 19 to Mrs. Sexauer; Auditions are May 25, 3.30-5.30pm at the Alcott Auditorium.  For more information, please see the attached flyer.

Please join the Alcott community in honoring Superintendent Diana Rigby for her many years of service to our community on Tuesday, June 13 from 1:30-3:30 in the Alcott Cafeteria .  Please feel free to bring your children and extend the invitation to past and present students, parents and teachers.  Click on this link to RSVP to this event.  We will be collecting notes of thanks and well wishes on Diana’s future endeavors.

Alcott Open House: Wednesday, August 29, 8:30am – 9:30am. This is an opportunity for you and your child to visit the classroom and meet your teacher. This visit is optional and should only last about ten minutes. Please review the Concord Journal or District’s website prior to the opening of school for bus stops and times.

Go For The Gold Day!!  We encourage all Alcott students to wear yellow or gold today to show your school spirit.

Blood Drive and Bone Marrow Drive – September 19 from 1:00 – 6:00 at Alcott.  The Bone Marrow Drive will occur between 3:00 – 6:00 PM.  Please stop by to have the staff from Children’s Hospital swab your cheek and sign you up for the Bone Marrow Registry. This Blood Drive is in honor of Ewan van der Swaagh. To make an appointment please log onto halfpints.childrenshospital.org, sponsor code for this drive is ALCOTT, or call Carol at 978-985-2034.

Alcott Fall Workshops are here!  Looking for before or after school enrichment for your child? Click to view the List of Workshops for Fall. Stretch your mind with Lego’s, Scratch Coding or the new STEAM Club. Stretch your body with Before School Sports, Karate or Bollywood Dance. All workshops begin week of 10/2 and run thru Mid-November and are held at Alcott. Classes are 6 weeks in length. Registration begins Wednesday, September 20th at 7:00 am thru the online system, Family ID. Financial Aid is available and all requests remain confidential.
