Alcott Final Deadline for Yearbook Ordering
It is time to order your 2015-2015 Alcott Yearbook! The yearbook will be in full color & produced with Coffee Pond Photography and includes photos from all grades and events throughout the year. The cost of the yearbook is $28.00 if ordered by 3/15/16. $31.50 if ordered by 4/05/16 and $35.00 if ordered by4/26/16. The final deadline to order is Tuesday, April 26th! Alcott Principal’s Coffee, Topic: Technology
We invite you to attend the Digital Citizenship and Internet Safety Principal’s Coffee hosted by Emily Sypole (Library Media Specialist) and John Peachey (Instructional Technology Specialist). There will be several topics discussed, including the current Digital Citizenship Library curriculum, the Technology Use Survey taken by the fifth grade students, and the fifth grade Internet Safety lessons co-taught this spring by Ms. Sypole and Mr. Peachey. In addition, we will be distributing our “Digital Citizenship: Teaching Children to be Safe and Responsible Online” brochure that we recently revised as a parent resource. There will be an opportunity for discussion and questions

The New England Aquarium: Tidepools Program The New England Aquarium will offer a hands on learning opportunity featuring the animals of the New England intertidal zone, providing an informative and memorable introduction to these amazing creatures. Classroom presentations at 9:30, 10:30, 12:15, and 1:15.
