Dear Alcott School Families,

I hope that you and your children are enjoying these final days of summer and have found time to relax with friends and family. As the end of August draws near, I can feel the excitement growing as staff set up classrooms and prepare to receive your students! I am looking forward to welcoming you and your children back to Alcott very soon!

Attached is a document with information about our arrival and dismissal routines, how to change your child’s dismissal plan, information about school lunch, as well as current COVID protocol. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions!

Please also note important upcoming dates:

Open House: In person on Tuesday, August 30th from 2:30-3:15. Kindergarten meetings will be scheduled on August 30th by the kindergarten teachers.
First Day of School: August 31st
Back to School Night: Thursday, September 22nd from 5:30-7:30pm. This event will be in person with more details, including specific times for each grade level, to come.
Half days will remain on Wednesdays for the upcoming year. This information and more can be found by following this link to the 2022-2023 CPS calendar!
