Dear Alcott Families,

I hope that you are having a wonderful summer! For me, the beginning of the summer was a great opportunity to slow down and regroup after a challenging year for everyone. As we begin to pick up speed in preparation for the return to school, I am incredibly excited to think about all of the possibilities the upcoming year will have to offer!

At this time, class placements have been posted to the Aspen portal. If you have forgotten your account credentials, please email parentportal@concordps.org during business hours to have it reset. Information concerning transportation will be published in the Concord Journal and on the district’s website in late August.

You can expect more information on day to day school logistics, including updated COVID protocol, very soon. However, I’d like to highlight a few important dates for you now:

Virtual Open Houses: Friday, August 27th, schedule and Zoom links for each class will be forthcoming.
First Day of School – Grades 1-5: August 30th
First Day of School – Kindergarten: September 1st
Back to School Night: Wednesday, September 22nd from 5:30-7:30pm. This event will be virtual with more details, including specific times for each grade level, to come.
Half days will remain on Wednesdays for the upcoming year. This information and more can be found by following this link to the 2021-2022 CPS calendar!
