All students are encouraged to check out materials during their library class time. The loan period is one week, with renewals allowed as needed.

We offer a selection of materials for all interests and reading abilities; including books, ebooks, magazines, and books on CDs. We encourage students to choose materials appropriate for their interests, age, and reading level.  Kindergarten students can choose books from our picture book section and easy reader section (fiction and non). First and second graders can choose books from the picture book section, easy reader section, early chapter book section, and nonfiction sections. Third, fourth, and fifth graders can choose any books from the library.

Students receive verbal reminders if their library books are overdue. Every few months, overdue notices will be sent home with the student. In addition, overdue bills will be mailed home three times a year. If a book is lost or damaged beyond repair, we ask that the item be replaced or paid for so that we may replace the item. A book will not be taken off of a child’s account until the item is returned, replaced, or paid for.
